What is the purpose of combining courses?

There are two main reasons for this decision. The first is that the standardization processes can be realized because these courses are opened to outdoors, and the second is is using the resources efficiently and effectively.

How will the codes of common courses be combined?

After ALL courses have been entered into the system, the common courses between faculties and departments will be determined by the Coordination Office of Common Courses. The meetings will be held with the instructors who are assigned to give these courses and after the course contents and the teachers who will give the course are determined, the courses will be reopened with ORT code through Einstein. The course codes of the programs, to which the students are enrolled, will appear. The ORT codes will only be used in the organization of courses for organizational purposes.

Who will make Assignments for Teaching Staff who offer common courses?

The employment status of the instructors appointed to give these courses will be at the Coordination Office of Common Courses. After the courses are shared, the ORT code course will be assigned to the instructors selected by the Coordination Office of Common Courses via Einstein.

Can the instructors of these courses change if the other load of the instructors who will give the common courses prevent implementation of the common course?

Such an obstacle will not be the case, because the minimum course hours for the instructors to be assigned to the common courses will already be given before the partnership takes place. Teaching staff assignment will be held by taking the hours of instruction and areas of specialization into account.
